Think of coatings as a clear protective shield baked onto the surface of your glasses. They change how easy your lenses are to clean, how they handle glare, and how comfortable your eyes feel during long days of screen time.

Except for our most basic, unbundled entry lenses, almost all of our custom lens packages automatically come standard with our Triple-Shield Protection at no extra cost:
Scratch-Resistant Coating: A durable, clear treatment that helps fight off everyday wear and tear to increase your glasses' longevity while keeping your vision perfectly clear.
UV Protective Coating: Provides superior protection from invisible ultraviolet (UV) light without altering how your glasses look.
Standard Anti-Reflective (Anti-Glare) Coating: Reduces annoying glare and light reflections on both the front and back of your lenses. This helps light pass through cleanly, which is essential for night driving, computer work, and looking great in photos.

💧 Super Hydrophobic Coating
If you hate constantly smudging your glasses, this is a must-have upgrade. "Hydrophobic" means water-fearing. This ultra-slick surface coating prevents liquids, skin oils, and debris from sticking to your lenses.
How it works: Instead of water spreading out and smearing across your lens, moisture tightly beads up into tiny droplets and rolls right off without leaving a streak.
Key benefits: It actively repels fingerprints, grease, and dust. This makes your glasses significantly harder to dirty and much quicker and easier to wipe clean.
📱 Screen Boost Lenses
Screen Boost is a premium, anti-fatigue upgrade designed specifically for heavy smartphone and computer users with single-vision prescriptions.
How it works: It combines your normal single-vision distance prescription across the top of the lens with a subtle, built-in magnification zone at the very bottom.
Key benefits: When you look down at your phone or laptop, that subtle boost takes the heavy focusing strain off your eye muscles. It reduces digital eye fatigue, limits headaches, and helps maintain high visual efficiency during long work hours.
🧼 Pro-Tip for Lens Care: Don't Use Your T-Shirt! Even with our premium protective coatings, rubbing your glasses on your clothing, paper towels, or napkins can trap tiny dust fibers and permanently micro-scratch your lenses over time.
To keep your custom glasses in showroom condition, always use a designated microfiber lens cleaning cloth and a proper lens cleaning spray solution. Your eyes will thank you!
