What happens to my subscription if my contact lens prescription changes?
Got a brand-new prescription? Awesome! However, because contact lenses are regulated medical devices, there is one important rule to know: You cannot edit, alter, or update the prescription details on an active subscription.
Your current subscription is legally locked to the exact prescription you used when you first checked out. If your prescription changes - or if your doctor switches you to a different lens brand—you will need to cancel your current subscription and start a fresh one.
Step 1: Cancel Your Current Subscription
Don't worry, canceling takes less than a minute and can be done entirely online:
Go to GlassesUSA.com.
Click Log In in the upper-right corner of your screen (right next to the shopping cart icon 🛒).
Log in using your email and password, or select Continue with Google or Continue with Apple (whichever method you used when you first signed up).
Once logged in, go to your account settings, locate your active contact lens subscription, and click Cancel.
Step 2: Start Your New Subscription with Your New RX
Once your old subscription is canceled, you are ready to set up your new one:
Go to our Contact Lenses Catalog and select your prescribed lens brand.
Enter your new prescription details exactly as written by your doctor or upload your new physical prescription copy.
Select the Subscribe & Save option before proceeding to checkout.
Complete the checkout. Your brand-new, up-to-date subscription is now officially active!
