How to Order Glasses with Prism Correction | Adding Prism to Your Order
If your eye doctor has added a "Prism" alignment value to your prescription, our laboratory can custom-craft your lenses to support it.
What is prism correction and who needs it?
Prism correction is a specialized lens customization used for people who experience double vision or vision displacement (seeing two separate images of the same object).
Instead of changing the focusing power of the lens, a prism gently bends light before it enters your eye. This ensures the images align perfectly on your retina so you can see a single, clear picture. You should only add prism to your order if it is explicitly written on your official doctor's prescription slip.
⚠️ Important: Prism is a prescribed vision fix, not a random upgrade
It is incredibly important to know that prism is a doctor-prescribed vision fix for a specific medical condition, not a random upgrade or a premium add-on (like blue-light filtering, anti-glare, or transition coatings).
Do not check this box unless your eye doctor has explicitly written a Prism value on your physical prescription sheet.
If your prescription does not mention "Prism," "Base," or directions like "In/Out/Up/Down," you do not need this feature and should leave it unchecked.
How much does prism correction cost?
Because prism lenses require specialized geometric cutting and diamond-polishing in our laboratory, there is a small additional manufacturing surcharge.
Prism lenses carry an additional custom lens fee of +$30.
How to place an order with prism correction
Because prism prescriptions are highly technical, our website does not allow you to type these values in manually. To prevent any manufacturing errors, we require a physical copy of your doctor's note.
Follow these exact steps to check out with a prism prescription:
Browse our collection, select your favorite frame, and click Choose Lenses.
When prompted on how you want to add your prescription, choose whichever method you prefer: "Fill it out online" OR "Upload Image".
Look at the very bottom of the window on your screen (underneath the manual number grids or right below the photo upload box.
Check the box that says: "My prescription includes prism (+$30)".
A quick confirmation window will pop up explaining prism lenses. Click the blue Add Prism button to lock it in.
How to submit your prescription file:
Once you check the prism box and add the feature to your cart, your order parameters will require verification. You can choose to provide your paperwork right away or after checkout, matching our standard prescription timelines:
Upload Now (Recommended): If you selected "Upload Image" (or checked the prism box at the bottom of the online form), simply drop your photo or PDF file directly into the upload box on your screen and tap confirm. This lets our laboratory verify the doctor's geometric alignment notes instantly.
Send Later: If you do not have a clear photo of your physical prescription sheet saved on your current device, you can select "Send Later" to complete your purchase immediately. Your order will be placed on hold, and you will have a total of 25 days to submit your paperwork. Our team will send you friendly check-in reminders via email - when you're ready, you can simply reply directly to any of those emails with a clear photo of your prescription attached!
Important: If your prescription includes prism, we are unable to produce your glasses without prism correction.
